DATE OF BID OPENING: Tuesday, September 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. The Delaware River Port Authority (“Authority”) hereby invites interested qualified Contractors to submit a Bid for Contract No. CB-37-2018, Commodore Barry Bridge - Bridge Deck Rehabilitation Project. One (1) electronic copy of the Bid, along with other technical and commercial documents shall be submitted, via SAP Ariba, no later than 2:00 p.m. EST by Tuesday, September 4, 2019. Bids will be publically opened and read, via SAP Ariba, in the Engineering Conference Room. The work to be completed under this contract consists of complete concrete deck repairs for the length of the Commodore Barry Bridge (including ramps) over the Delaware River, railroads, and local roads, and the US 322 bridge over US 130. The work includes all activities necessary for the repair work, including but not limited to hydrodemolition, partial and full depth concrete deck repairs, ultra-high performance concrete repairs, pavement markings, maintenance and protection of traffic, temporary shielding and other miscellaneous activities necessary to complete the work. Proposers are not expected to name their MBE and WBE team members at the time they submit the Statement of Qualifications; however, should include a statement if they will be committed to using MBE and WBE firms. MBE and WBE team members must be named, and commitment levels must be noted at the time the proposal is submitted. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held starting at 10:00 am EST on Thursday, August 15, 2019 in the 7th West Conference Room of One Port Center, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ 08103. All bidders shall be expected to completely and thoroughly examine all Contract Documents to become fully aware of the project scope and requirements prior to submitting a Bid. The DRPA and PATCO are now utilizing the Ariba Network for all sourcing, contracts, and supplier management. In order to compete for procurement opportunities with the Authority, your company must register on the Ariba Network and complete the Authority's supplier registration questionnaire. You can register on the Ariba Network at any time. Registration is free, quick and easy. Please refer to the DRPA Procurement website (http://www.drpa.org/procurement/) for more information. The Authority will only consider Bids submitted from parties who have obtained project access via the SAP Ariba Network. Contract Documents are not transferable to other parties for bidding purposes. All responses must be submitted electronically via the Ariba Network. Bids submitted from firms who have not obtained project access to this Contract will be rejected.
