The Delaware River Port Authority (“Authority”) hereby invites interested qualified Contractors to submit a Bid for Contract No. CB-33-2017 - COMMODORE BARRY BRIDGE STRUCTURE REHABILITATION PHASE 2 Project. One (1) electronic copy of the Bid, along with other technical and commercial documents shall be submitted, via SAP Ariba, no later than 2:00 pm EST by Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Bids will be publically opened and read, via SAP Ariba, in the Engineering Conference Room. The Work to be completed under Contract No. CB-33-2017 includes various repairs to the Commodore Barry Bridge substructure. The main river piers plus all the approach piers and abutments in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey are included. The types of repairs include, but are not limited to: application of protective concrete coatings, concrete spall repairs, concrete crack repairs, concrete pier cap repairs, drainage repairs, miscellaneous structural steel repairs and pier railing replacements. Several approach piers require temporarily engineered support system and performing pier cap concrete demolition and re-construction in tight work space. The scope of work also involves the main river piers, mortar repointing of piers with granite facing, granite crack repairs and specialty underwater concrete crack and spall repairs. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) will be implemented for this contract. To that end, the DRPA has established MBE and WBE goals for this project. MBE and WBE team members must be named, and commitment levels must be noted at the time the bid is submitted. A Non mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held starting at 1:00 pm EST on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in the 11th Multi-purpose Room of One Port Center, 2 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ 08101. Immediately following the Pre-bid meeting will be the only field visit to the site. All bidders shall be expected to completely and thoroughly examine all Contract Documents to become fully aware of the project scope and requirements prior to submitting a bid. The Authority will consider only those bids received from parties who have obtained Contract Documents directly from the Authority. Contract Documents are not transferable to other parties for bidding purposes. Bids received from firms whose names are not recorded by the Authority as having secured documents for this Contract will be rejected. The DRPA and PATCO are now utilizing the Ariba Network for all sourcing, contracts, and supplier management. In order to compete for procurement opportunities with the Authority, your company must register on the Ariba Network and complete the Authority's supplier registration questionnaire.
