This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ANNOUNCEMENT to conduct market research relative to the Historical Researcher requirement. This RFI announcement is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotations, or Invitation for Bid (IFB).  The information for this RFI is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy and is not to be construed as a committment by the the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.  No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this announcement or the Government's use of such information.  The Government's acquisition strategy continues to develop and if and when a solicitation is issued, it will include a sample task and site visit information. 

This announcement is specifically targeted for interested, qualified businesses that can perform the services required as stated in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) titled Historical Researcher dated 29 Jul 2016.
