Since 2007, the Air Force CRP has held technology match meetings for Program Executive Officer (PEO) organizations. The AF Transition Support Program identifies applicable SBIR/STTR firms' Phase II projects by comparing DoD SBIR/STTR databases against AF Center technology-based needs. In 2008, Air Force initiated technology match meetings focused on individual major contractors' technology-based needs. The technology-based needs concept is effective and beneficial to both the Government and Industry. Air Force is now soliciting major contractors to participate in technology match meetings for 2014. Meetings will include one-on-one sessions between small businesses and the major contractor host will take place with Government facilitation. This announcement is an expression of interest only and does not obligate the Government in any way. Response is voluntary and will have no influence on any future acquisition.
