The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a single year procurement for one lot of spare components unique to the AIM-9X Block I missile system as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) sole-source contract action.  This procurement will provide for current sustainment needsfor the United States Navy, United States Air Force, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.  NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson AZ 85756-9367.  Since 1996, RMS has been the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the AIM-9X missile.  RMS is the only known source with the requisite data, technical knowledge, experience and tooling to meet the requirements of this effort.
