The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-15-G-0003, to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), 1151 East Herman’s Road, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337, for the procurement of AIM-9X test assets required to support F/A-18 E/F testing. Two AIM-9X static, non-flightworthy, fully inert ground test articles are anticipated to be procured, with options to procure one flightworthy Captive Test Missile (CTM-9X), with an inert warhead, and a spare flightworthy inert warhead. A one-year period of performance is expected.
NAVAIR intends to award this procurement sole source to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756-9367, based on the authority provided in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
