The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD) , China Lake, CA. intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis from Glenair Inc., 1211 Air Way Glendale CA 91201, a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the following non-commercial supplies: W1 Wire Harness, qty 115; W Wire Harness, qty 115; W3 Wire Harness, qty 115; W4 Wire Harness, qty 115; W5 Wire Harness, qty 115; W6 Wire Harness, qty 115. This effort will entail manufacture, fabrication, and acceptance requirements for the parts listed above.

This is a follow on contract that was successfully awarded and completed by Glenair Inc. Glenair designed and built cable harnesses that underwent functional and environmental qualification testing at the system level and award to any other source would result in acceptable costs, schedule, and programmatic risks. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing they can fulfill the requirement of providing these supplies may submit a written response by 30 July 2014, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation N68936-14-R-0144 and must clearly demonstrate the capability to respond to this requirement without detriment to the Government.
