The 59th Medical Wing at Lackland Air Force Base has a requirement for Cardinal Health Solutions, Inc. for the Alaris Module Package (16 Next Generation Alaris PC Units, P/N 8015; 20 Alaris Pump Modules, P/N 8100B; 16 Alaris Syringe Modules, P/N 8110A; 8 Alaris PCA Modules, P/N 8120B; 1 Remote Professional Services) AND - Guardrails Suite License for Alaris System (16 Guardrails Point of Care Software for Alaris PC units; 44 Guardrails Point of Care Software Modules). The Government intends to procure these items on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to negotiate a Fixed Price contract with Cardinal Health Solutions, Inc., 3750 Torrey View Ct., San Diego, CA 92130. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be posted; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer NO LATER THAN October 27, 2009, 0900. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
