A. Background

Propulsion Systems Evaluation Facility (PSEF) wants to expand on the existing Allen Bradley Programmable Logic controller (PLC) system for Room116 control room. In order to sustain and maintain equipment for system readiness, the Controllogix PLC system and its associated equipment must to be able to monitor and control various control systems i.e. air starter system, alarming, shutdown interlocks, dynamometer shutdown, and etc., and have the capability of diagnosing, displaying and controlling various control system interfaces thru the touchscreen operator interface panel.

B.  Technical Requirements

The Controllogix PLC system must be able to interface with existing facility controls and equipment in order to control and monitor the engine test article conditions. These listed components from Rockwell Automation are the minimum requirements to ensure repeatability of the various control systems during normal testing operations.

C. Deliverables
