This acquisition is to provide engineering services for the upgrade of the AN/ALQ-56C Digital Receiver Upgrade. The contractor shall provide a form, fit, function preliminary design of the ALR-56C LRU-3C upgrade. The contractor will address parts obsolescence and vanishing vendor issues due to the advancement in technology. The upgrade will not require any modifications to the F-15 aircraft. The design will incorporate existing Electronic Warfare technology from the F-35 and F22A programs allowing maximum commonality among the systems. Period of performance will be 18 months. The solicitation will be issued sole source to BAE Systems, and to be awarded as an order against Corporate Contract F09603-03-D-0001. Authority: 10 U.
