The purpose and intent of this request for quotes is to select suppliers to provide and deliver rebuilt, remanufactured and new alternators and starters on a countywide basis, and to secure firm net pricing and discounts for the contract period as stated herein. Our fleet consists of approximately 1,450 vehicles, of which 624 are school buses. School buses average approximately 20,000 miles per year. There are five vehicle maintenance garages in Pinellas County.
