The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Ambulance Services for inmates at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) in Florence, CO located at 5880 Hwy 67 South, Florence, CO 81226.  The FCC includes United States Penitentiary Administrative Maximum (ADX), United States Penitentiary (USP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), and the Federal Prison Camp (FPC).  The contractor shall provide Ambulance services to the Health Services Department at the ADX, USP, FCI, and FPC.  The NAICS Code is 621910.  The contractor must be available for emergency ambulance and routine ambulance transport services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, including all federal holidays.  For emergent transport, the contractor must be on-site at FCC Florence within 15 minutes of request.  Please see the Statement of Work for more details and credential requirements.  The Government contemplates awarding a requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the forthcoming solicitation.  The contract period shall consist of a base year and four option years.  A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result.  Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.  All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.  The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about May 5, 2021, and will be distributed solely through SAMs website (www.beta.SAM.gov).  All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site.
