The Air Armament Center, Armament Directorate, Air Dominance Division, AMRAAM Production and Sustainment Branch, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Raytheon Missile Systems, 1151 E Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ, 85756, to perform follow-on efforts for the technical support of the AMRAAM. The effort includes providing technical support to AMRAAM production in various areas of systems engineering, software, flight and ground test, and logistics for the Air Force, Navy, FMS countries and others. The only known responsible source that can satisfy this requirement is Raytheon Missile Systems because they possess the required type of knowledge that could only be gained by years of experience in applying skills to the specific AMRAAM missile design, specific and detailed knowledge, and experience with AMRAAM software, missile design, special test assets and U.S. Government simulation facilities. This contract is anticipated to begin 1 February 2011 and run for 12 months.

FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii) requires that all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All responses must be received 15 calendar days after the date of post.
