NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO West - Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, for the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Research Foundation of The City University Of New York. The statutory authority for restricting competition under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Single Source, commercial item acquisitions not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), currently $250,000, is 41 U.S.C. 1903, as implemented by FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Research Foundation of The City University Of New York will provide (Center for the Advancement of Critical Time Intervention (CACTI)) in relation to providing consultation and support on Critical Time Intervention (CTI). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611310 with a size standard of $27.5M. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact no later than 3:00 P.M., (PST) on May 28th, 2021. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
