The Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, Research Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Inscopix, Inc. for Inscopix iCare subscriptions for three nVue 2.0 systems, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Investigators at the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC are conducting research on traumatic brain injury and require Inscopix iCare subscriptions for three nVue 2.0 system upgrades to existing nVue systems being utilized on site. Inscopix is the manufacturer of the nVue System, and Inscopix technicians are the only known source for the service and maintenance of the proprietary nVue systems. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source who can provide an equivalent service with the features described above, may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Friday, September 1, 2023, 1:00 PM EDT.
