The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement for Repair of Repairable (ROR) Effort for the Department of the Navy Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (DoN LAIRCM) program. NAVAIR plans to award a sole source delivery order under NAVAIR BOA N00019-08-G-0012 to Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Systems, Defensive Systems Division, Rolling Meadows, IL for supplies and services required to plan, manage and execute the repair/overhaul of AN/AAQ-24(V)25 DoN LAIRCM repairable assets. The contractor shall evaluate, repair and/or overhaul the repairable asset to a working serviceable condition in accordance with the manufacturer’s performance specifications. Repair activity will be initiated promptly as assets are received and prioritized by urgency and repair lead-time. Repaired assets will then be returned to the Government serviceable spares inventory and/or may be issued directly from the repair facility to the field unit to support AN/AAQ-24(V)25 system outages. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Systems, Defensive Systems Division, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the equipment addressed in this synopsis and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
