The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement for Repair of Repairable (ROR) Effort for the Department of the Navy Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (DoN LAIRCM) program. NAVAIR plans to award a sole source delivery order under NAVAIR BOA N00019-08-G-0012 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Electronic Systems, Land and Self Protection Systems Division, Rolling Meadows, IL for supplies and services required to plan, manage and execute the repair/overhaul of AN/AAQ-24(V)25 DoN LAIRCM repairable assets. The requirement is for complete repair/overhaul of unserviceable AN/AAQ-24(V)25 components to a serviceable condition. The components are as follows: Control Interface Unit Guardian Laser Transmitter Assembly, Processor, and Infrared Missile Warning Sensor.

This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Electronic Systems, Land and Self Protection Systems Division, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the equipment addressed in this synopsis and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
