 ITEM DESCRIPTION

The AN/ALR-56M Advanced Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) System is used on F-16 and C- 130J aircraft for DOD and FMS customers. The ALR-56M RWR system enhances aircrew survivability by continuously detecting and intercepting Radio      Frequency (RF) signals in various frequency ranges. This system was designed to improve situational awareness by analyzing and separating modern threat signals from  non-threat signals in various combat environments. The AN/ALR-56M RWR interfaces          with jamming, countermeasures, and aircraft avionics equipment. The AN/ALR-56M RWR operates with the most advanced active electronically scanned array radar (AESA).
