The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU), located in Bethesda, MD, has a requirement for Animal Husbandry Services, which will be needed in both the University's Laboratory of Animal Medicine (LAM) and at the Armed Forces Radio Biology Research Institute's (AFRRI) animal facilities. Both departments are located in Bethesda, MD. The Animal Husbandry Division (AHD) is one of the four divisions within the LAM. LAM has a requirement for contract personnel to fill three (3) animal caretakers' positions, 7 days a week. AFRRI's needs will only be for temporary hires for times of high animal volume.

This is a new requirement. There is no incumbent that currently provides these services to USU/AFRRI.

It is anticipated that the resultant award will be a single award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for five (5) years.
