The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids for the delivery of Hydrated Lime in the form of Calcium Hydroxide, Ca(OH)2, for the treatment of potable water supplies at the Aqua Vista Water Treatment Facility. It is estimated that 4,340 tons of Hydrated Lime will be used annually. The usage will vary according to the weather. Hydrated Lime is stored in a bulk storage tank.
