DAVID DOUGLAS SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 40ANNUAL REUSABLE LICENSES FOR IMAGINE ESPAÑOL, AND IMAGINE LANGUAGE & LITERACY DATE OF NOTICE: September 18, 2024 NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENTPursuant to ORS 279B.075, David Douglas School District No. 40 intends to award a sole source contract without competitive procurement to Imagine Learning LLC. The contract is for annual Reusable Licenses for Imagine Español, and Imagine Language & Literacy. The District is currently standardized to Imagine Learning LLC. Switching providers would not be an efficient use of existing resources since content may have to be revamped, and employees would have to be retrained. Therefore, on the basis of ORS 279B.075(2)(a), i.e., that the findings support the conclusion that the efficient utilization of existing resources requires acquiring compatible goods or services. Anyone desiring to protest award of this sole source contract must file a written protest no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024, with Patt Komar, Director of Administrative Services, at 11300 NE Halsey St., Portland, OR 97220. A protest may only be filed by an Affected Person as defined by OAR 137-047-0100 and must comply with the requirements for a valid protest contained in OAR 137-047-0710. The District intends to submit these sole source procurements for school board approval at the next board meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the David Douglas School District Board Room, located at 1500 SE 130th Avenue, Portland, OR 97233.
