Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) is seeking an expression of interest from manufactures regarding the design and fabrication of Applications Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) in support of Brookhaven National Laboratory's (BNL) mission located in Upton, NY 11973.

General Description

These ASICs are designed and developed to support Low Noise front-end electronic circuits for Advanced X-Ray detectors at NSLS II, ATLAS and RHIC Upgrades, Nuclear Non-Proliferation and National Security and Industry partnership programs.

ASIC development is traditionally a costly process since the manufacturing methods used are geared towards very high-volume production, typically millions of devices. Our needs are much more modest; order a few hundred to a few thousand each procurement.

Fabrication and Packaging of Application Specific Integrated Circuits from BNL provided design files. Fabrication must be made using a state-of-the art foundry compatible with the design rules used in our layout.
