This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is for Held Creek fish habitat project located in Newaygo County, Denver Township (T14 N R 14W), Section 1, Lincoln Township (T14N R13W) 6, and Merrill Township (T15N R13W) section 31 and the Mena Creek habitat maintenance project located in Newaygo County, Lincoln Township (T14N R13W), section 6 and Denver Township (T14N R14W), Section 24. Both locations are on the Huron-Manistee National Forest, Michigan.

Work includes, but is not limited to, clearing Tag Alder and other tree species that overhang or are lying in the middle of the creek, repair existing structures, pick up trash in creek and shore line, remove old barriers and install new barriers.

This acquisition is set-aside for Total Small Businesses. Awarded contract will be firm-fixed price in accordance with FAR Part 19.  Award will be made to one offeror.

The estimated cost of this project is between the $25,000 and $35,000 range.

Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million.

Contractors are required to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).

This work is scheduled to begin approximately July 1st, 2012 and must be completed by November 14th, 2012.
