NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this is effort is 541720, Research & Development in the Social Sciences & Humanities. The Small Business Administration small business size standard for NAICS code 541720 is $24.5 million annual average receipts (total or gross income) over the past three years.
DESCRIPTION: This contract will support services which shall perform inspection/condition assessments; create inventories; generate a yearly status report; monitor the facility environment; maintain qualified facility personnel; provide collection access to approved individuals; restrict access to collections, as necessary; prohibit the sale of artifacts and associated documentation; notify USACE of loss, breakage, damage, or deterioration within five days of discovering the issue; ensure loan provisions; direct any request for transfer or repatriation of USACE-owned or managed collections under the NAGPRA to USACE; produce cost record accounting; digitize records, as needed; maintain the central data file; provide a fee schedule, as requested; consolidate collections, as needed and when appropriate; prohibit the sale of all or part of any collection to any third party; and provide conservation supplies and staff support, as needed. An annual report (see Section 3.2) will include the current number of USACE boxes curated at the facility, a list of collections accessed, and a list of the publications resulting from this access and research. Collections may only be accessed for research after receiving written permission from USACE.
