The RFQ number is M0008412SU00040. The United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, National Capitol Region, Quantico VA, 22134-5001 intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price contract for Athlete Reconditioning Program for use in the upcoming Wounded Warrior Trials. The required delivery date is 1 Feb 2011. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 451110 and the small business size standard is $14.0.

For this solicitation, United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, National Capitol Region intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc.; therefore, vendors should not use the "Submit Bid" button on the NECO website to submit their pricing information. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, and browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A vendor may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, National Capitol Region is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible vendors that respond to this combined synopsis/solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.
