NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT - The Air Force Flight Test Center, Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to solicit with and award a new sole source service contract to KOR Electronics 10855 Business Center Drive, Bldg. A Cypress, CA 90630 for the following requirement. This sole source acquisition meets the conditions of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the service and supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements, and will be conducted IAW FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511 and the Small Business size standard is $25,000,000. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated to include an estimated contract period of 3 days.

These services include:
Contractor shall perform anomaly tracking and troubleshooting for issues discovered while conducting customer-oriented radar tests on a system under test in the Benefield Anechoic Facility using the ARES AFSC RTG.

Description:
The contractor shall be required to:
• Perform additional anomaly tracking and troubleshooting on issues discovered while conducting customer-oriented radar tests.
• Determine if a solution exists for each issue is or is not possible
• Determine the effect of such a solution
• Determine the best course of action to resolve the problems
• Propose the solution and the cost and time involved to repair the problem(s).

Contractor shall be required to comply with all federal, state and local operating authorities, permits and licenses, necessary beyond AFFTC's current operating authorities, to perform the instruction and/or development contemplated by the contract.

F.O.B. Destination: Edwards AFB

This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a capabilities package that shall include, as a minimum: 1) evidence of past experience and related projects that cover the criteria above, with value/price of past efforts; 2) size of firm, large or small business; 3) whether or not these items and services are provided commercially to non-government agencies; and 4) the capability to support the requirements as identified above which shall be considered.

The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice.
