The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division (ACC-APG-NCD), has a sole source requirement on behalf of Product Manager, Solider Clothing and Individual Equipment (PM-SCIE) to manufacture 700 ensembles of the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU). Incremental delivery requirements are 200 ensembles by 6 March 2019, and 500 ensembles by 6 May 2019.  

This acquisition is to manufacture the AGSU ensembles for a Limited User Evaluation and Low Rate Initial Production for issuance to Soldiers. The AGSU is a directed requirement from the Chief of Staff of the Army (CSA). The current Army Service Uniform (ASU) does not adequately provide the fit and functionality desired for everyday wear in a business/business casual environment. Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier is developing an AGSU based on the World War II variant that will wear better and provide a distinctive look for Soldiers.

The NAICS code for this requirement is 315210. This acquisition will be conducted as a sole source contract to The Fechheimer Brothers Company of 4545 Malsbary Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242-5624. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated.
