The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to Arthrex Incorporated for three Orthopedic Arthroscopy Systems which are only compatible with the Ortho Video Tower System which was previously purchased. These systems are used for renovation of the interior of joint cavities for minimal entry surgery services for Wilford Hall Medical Center Hospital and patrons. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 11 Dec 2009. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
