1.0 Scope. The Special Communications Requirements Integration Facility (SCRIF) of the Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) St. Inigoes has been tasked to become AS9100 certified.

2.0 Purpose. The purpose of this project is to have an ANAB accreditated AS9100/ISO 9001:2008 certified firm to assess/audit the SCRIF and determine if they meet the criteria for AS9100 and ISO 9001:2008 certification and issue the certification in accordance with applicable standards.

3.0 Customer Care: The contractor shall provide the audit/assessment on site as outlined below:

3.1 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
3.1.1 The Contractor shall provide the following in accordance with this Order (the "Service"):
3.1.2 AS9100 and ISO 9001:2008 Audits and certification iaw ANAB standards.
3.1.3 A readiness review (stage 1).
3.1.4 AS9100/ISO9001:2008 Audit (Stage 2).
3.1.5 Annual follow on assessments for the next two years following the initial assessment/audit.
3.1.6 Allow use of registration marks as applicable.
3.2 The following are basic items that will be necessary for determining a quote for services:
3.2.1 Scope of Certification. The fabrication, integration and installation of communication systems in support of the Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division.
3.2.2 Number of employees part time and or full time is 47
3.2.3 Exclusions. The SCRIF claims exclusion from compliance with the following requirements of the ISO9001:2008 and AS9100C:
Clause 7.3- Design and Development is excluded from the scope of SCRIF's quality management system because there is no design work done at the facility.
Clause 7.4- Purchasing is excluded from the scope of the SCRIF's quality management system because the SCRIF does not do the purchasing for the projects. All procurements initiated by the SCRIF on behalf of the specified project are accomplished through existing and long established SCR and NAWCAD government procurement processes.
Clause 7.5.1- Post-Delivery Support is excluded from the scope of the SCRIF's quality management system because the does not provide post-delivery support.
Clause 7.5.4.1-Validation of Processes for Production and Service Support is excluded from the scope of the SCRIF's quality management system due to the fact that no previous or current production or service process at SCRIF have been demonstrated to be un-verifiable through subsequent measurement or monitoring activities.
3.2.4 Number of buildings is 1.
3.2.5 Number of work shifts is 1 (Dayshift 7am until 4pm).
3.2.6 Current ISO 9001:2008 certified through ULDQS Certification number 10012381 QM08. Date certified January 18, 2014 and is valid through January 17, 2017.
