The Town of Amherst invites sealed bids for the asbestos abatement at the former VFW facility, 457 Main Street, Amherst, MA. The Specifications and Invitation for Bids may be obtained online at www.amherstma.gov/bids . A mandatory project walk-thru is planned for December 6, 2023 at 10:00 am at the former VFW facility – 457 Main Street, Amherst, MA. All bidders must attend. Bids shall be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on December 14, 2023, to the Town of Amherst’s Accountant’s Office where the bids will be publicly opened and recorded at that time. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law.
