The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Canadian Commercial Corporation, 50 O'Connor Street, Suite 1100, Ottawa, Ontario K1A-0S6 (with 100% subcontracting to Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc., 3570 Hawkestone Road, Mississauga, Ontario LSC 2V8) for the procurement of three (3) each Aircraft Ship Integrated Securing and Traversing (ASIST) Aircraft Tracking Systems (ATS), associated technical data, and engineering support.  Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc. has designed and developed the ASIST system and is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for ASIST and the ATS kits.

The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1.  This is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
