NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), 412 TW, Edwards AFB, CA intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on 5 January 2010 for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the following contract line items: CLIN 0001: Chassis CLIN 0002: Module, Transmit and Receive CLIN 0003: 2 Channel Demux (PCM) Demux 10 CLIN 0004: 2 Channel Mux (PCM), Mux 10 CLIN 0005: EOATM (2 Channel Ethernet Module) CLIN 0006: Dual T1 I/O (Channelized and Unchannelized) Award of contract is planned for end of May 2010. The total estimated contract price is anticipated to not exceed $5M over a period of five (5) years. The Edwards Range, 412 RANS is replacing their current Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) multiplexers. The new multiplexers will be placed at Range customers sites and connect to Range core ATM backbone switch via an OC# or OC12 OPTICAL (multimode or single mode fiber) connection. This requirement will enable the Range to replace approximately 100 ATM Multiplexers that are no longer sustainable. RDATS seeks to provide a high-quality system to the Edwards Range, 412 RANS at the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) Edwards AFB, CA. This will be an 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this effort is 334220; Small Business Size Standard is 750.
