This requirement is for a purchase of ATAK which can be used to control radios from a chest mounted / handheld device (ATAK Machine). ATAK can also link all users and allow for location awareness and instant messaging between users – all overlaid on an operational area map; similar to a Blue Force Tracker.

ATAK is the way ahead for all LZ/DZ ops and surveys, as it saves time, is more efficient, and delivers a much better product than current techniques. ATAK has already been adopted by other CRGs, CCT units, and sister service units.

12 ATAK kits. This purchase would increase the number of ATAK Machines in the CRS inventory (1 machine is included with each kit) in addition to providing the hardware/software needed to achieve full functionality.
