The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole-source delivery order to the Raytheon Company, 2501 W. University, McKinney, Texas 75070 under BOA N00019-10-G-0006 to procure Pod Adapter Units (PAU) and NAVFLIR Surrogate parts which incorporates the Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) pod on F/A-18 E/F aircraft. Raytheon is the original designer and integrator of the ATFLIR pod into the F/A-18 weapon system and, as such, is the only source that possesses all of the technical data necessary to provide the PAUs and NAVFLIR Surrogate parts.
