The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisitions, intend to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1), to Particle Measuring Technique Co., Ltd., 48/53 Floor 3 Moo 7 Boonkum Rd. Kukot Lamlukka Puthumthani 12130, to purchase ATI Photometer laboratory equipment for BSC certification CDC HIV laboratory in Thailand.

Particle Measuring Technique Co. is the only licensed distributor in Thailand for these photometers, which are made by Air Techniques International. There are no other vendors that can provide this equipment in Thailand.

No request for quote will be issued based upon this notice of intent. This synopsis ends on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 4 PM EST in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a)(1). A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
