Quotes should remain valid 90 days following the date of its submission. Installation shall occur within 90 days from contract award. Q11. How many rooms are involved in this effort?
A11. A total of 3 rooms are involved. There are two (2) gun rooms, and one (1) room that will have the operating stations.
Q12. Can the central control processor have the ability to record visual or audio information? Will it meet the government's requirements if it has the ability to record?
A12. No, this will not meet the government's requirements. This is an Open Secret Space (OSS), and it is not authorized to have recording devices inside these spaces. This central control processor shall be installed in the room with the operator stations. Any submissions containing recording equipment (i.e. DVR) will be rejected.
Q13.The revised statement of work calls for monitors to be 18"- 20" size dimensions. Can an alternate size (i.e. 24") be submitted for consideration?
A13. No, 18"-20" monitors are acceptable.
Q14. How many total cameras are in this requirement?
A14. There shall be a total of six (6) cameras. There shall be three (3) in each gun room. The cameras shall view all sides of each gun. No camera shall be mounted to the horizontal surface for the ceiling.
Q15. How many operator stations will be required to have monitors and intercom modules to communicate and view inside the gun rooms?
A15. There are a total of four (4) operator stations located in the central room between the 2 gun rooms. Each will have the 18" - 20" monitor and intercom module on it. The monitors shall be mounted onto the operator stations via a swing arm assembly that the contractor will provide.
Q16. Is a power supply part of the requirement?
A16. No, a power supply or backup is not a requirement. The government will provide power. The contractor is responsible for providing enough cabling to connect to the power supply.
Q17. Is there a requirement to have two-way communications?
A17. Yes, the operator stations shall be able to view and talk to the gun rooms. The gun rooms shall be able to listen to the operator stations.
