NOTICE OF INTENT

The 802d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to AudioCARE Systems, 1436 Lancaster Ave, Ste 260, Berwyn, PA 19312-1286 for the purchase of renewing the existing AudioCARE premium license service agreement. The period of performance is 1 Oct 2010 - 30 Sep 11 with two (2) one-year option periods. FAR 52.232-18 availability of funds is applicable. This system is used to notify patients of appointments and to conduct surveys or service announcements for patients. AudioCARE Systems is the creator and the exclusive supplier for system support. Due to propriety nature of the software, there are no other companies that can provide support for this system. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1(b) (2). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation for offers. However, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
