The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), the Department of Defense Medical School and Health Sciences University, hereby announces its intent to acquire on a sole source basis with Diamedix Coporation in Miami, FL a Mago Plus/APTUS Automated EIA Analyzer. Diamedix Corporation is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the Mago Plus/APTUS Automated EIA Analyzer. The Mago Plus is a high throughput system that provides the user with total walkaway capabilities and utilizes a four plate platform. The system allows the user to use Primary Tubes, requires few consumables and no tips are necessary to perform testing. This award is IAW FAR Part 13.106(b) and authorizes USUHS to award contracts when only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
