The Project entitled Automated Screening Lanes Checkpoint Conversions Project Checkpoint 2 Breezeway Doors, includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals to perform, and complete the installation of Aluminum Storefront doors, Sidelites, Hardware, and Glazing. Project occurs on the ticketing level in the Breezeway located between the Zone 1 and Zone Ticket counters. Project shall include per the Drawings and the Division 8 Specification sections: installing three new pairs of aluminum doors, sidelites, frames, door hardware, and glazing. The work area is located on the ticketing level in the main terminal of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, 17801 International Boulevard, City of SeaTac, WA 98168. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 91 calendar days. A pre-bid meeting and site tour will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at 9:00 AM, at Port of Seattle, SeaTac Office Center (STOC) 17900 International Blvd. Suite 400B, Sea-Tac, WA 98188 in the Ballard Locks Conference Room. We will meet briefly to discuss the project and then travel to the airport where the project is located on the ticketing level in the main terminal of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, 17801 International Boulevard, City of SeaTac, WA 98168 to conduct the site tour. A portion of this Contract requires work to be performed within an area of the Airport controlled for security reasons. All Contractor personnel working in restricted areas (including AOA, Secured, SIDA and Sterile areas) on this project shall have Port of Seattle airport-issued identification / access badges in accordance with Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 1540/1542 and the Airport Security Plan. Bidders should consider the impact of acquiring badges when preparing their bids.
