The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on the behalf of Joint Manufacturing Technology Center (JMTC), is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to provide and install component upgrades to the Rock Island Arsenal, Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS).

The service to be performed includes installing component upgrades to the entire RIA-JMTC ASRS. The current components are either obsolete or in support of obsolete components. These specified components include: drives, gear motors, controls, Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces etc. The service also includes the removal of two of the crane systems and the installation of two new crane assemblies. Software development and implementation will also be included in this service in order to allow the upgraded system to communicate effectively, process information, and interface with Logistics Modernization Program.
