THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for an Occupational Vocational Training Program - Automotive and Welding Instructor for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Bennettsville, located in Bennettsville, SC. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide an Occupational Vocational Training Provider-Automotive and Welding Instructor in accordance with the Statement of Work. The contract shall consist of effective date of award through twelve months with five (5) Performance Periods (5 years), one 12-month Base Year with four 12-month Option Years for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government.  The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite delivery requirement type contract with firm fixed unit prices.  It is estimated that 15 students will be taught the Automotive Course at an estimated 1,440 sessions a year and it is estimated that 15 students will be taught the Welding Course at an estimated 1,440 sessions a year.  There will be four separate cycles (360 hours/cycle each) of Vocational Training for the Automotive Program and four separate cycles (360) hours/cycle each) of Vocational Training for the Welding Program.  The services will be required 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 am, and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.  The Schedule is subject to be adjusted to meet program requirements and the needs of the institution.  A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market Research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.
