The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID), Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP) , contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price sole source purchase order to Halpro, Inc., 155 Woodland road, Rockville, MD 208504 for the following item:

Autospense IIe with COA Dispensing head, 5 station indexing conveyor with down stacker, upstacker,100ML reservoir Assy is manufactured and marketed solely by Halpro, Inc.

The North American Industrial Classification Standards (NAICS) Code is 332710 and Standard Business Size of 500 employees.

The sole source award will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1); only one source is reasonably available. This requirement is not set aside for small businesses. CDC is not requesting competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, by September 11, 2012. Determination not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Respondents will assume all financial costs for preparing a response to this notice. The U.S. Government assumes no financial obligation for the preparation and distribution of prepared responses.
