For the establishment of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)for Autotransfusion services-providing technical processing of blood during interoperative procedures. Will operate cell salvage machine during surgical procedures and filter blood so it can be given back to patient, with no patient contact at all. Services will be used for but not limited to the following types of surgery: Orthopedic, Vascular, Neurosurgery, and General. Response time will need to be within 24 hours of notification.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the government will consider all quotations/responses received by July 28, 2008, 10:00am eastern standard time. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
