REQUEST FOR BIDS AVON RECREATION CENTER LOCKER ROOM REMODEL July 31, 2020 The Town of Avon, Colorado, will receive sealed bids and digital submissions for remodeling the Avon Recreation Center Locker Rooms. Bids will be received electronically through BidnetDirect.com or at the Office of the Town Engineer, Avon Town Hall, P.O. Box 975, 100 Mikaela Way, Avon, Colorado, 81620 until 2pm local time, on the August 31, 2020, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Construction for which bids will be received includes: Project Description: Remodel of the Avon Recreation Center Men and Women’s Locker rooms including replacement of the tile, painting, shower and stall partitions and lockers. The remodeling work shall be completed as shown on the attached plan and specifications. Contractor to provide tile, partitions, lockers and all other materials necessary to complete project. The Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, associated with this solicitation will be available online at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado/townofavon on August 31, 2020. A pre-bid conference will be held on August 25th at 10 a.m. at the Avon Town Hall, 100 Mikaela Way, Avon, Colorado. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids, without the consent of the Town of Avon, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled Bid Opening. All bids must be submitted in writing on the forms provided and signed by the Bidder or his duly authorized agent. By submitting a bid, the bidder certifies pursuant to C.R.S. § 8-17.5-102(1) that, at the time of bid submission, it does not knowingly employ or contract with an illegal alien and that the contractor has participated or attempted to participate in the Basic Pilot Program that is administered by the United States Department of Homeland Security in order to verify that it does not employ any illegal aliens. The Town of Avon reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to make Award in such a manner as they may deem right and proper for the best interest of the Town of Avon.
