This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial services.  It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Silicon Designs, Inc.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for:  Axis Accelerometers 1000-G.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1.  Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation.  However, all RFQs received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
