B--The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award on a sole-source basis, a requirement to conduct migratory bird harvest surveys in 16 communities throughout Alaska to include Unalakleet, Shishmaref, Stebbins, St. Michael, Elim, Koyuk, Brevig Mission, Teller, Shaktoolik, White Mountain, Wales, Golovin, Gambell, Savoonga, Diomede, and Nome. Responsibilities of the contractor will be informing hunters and getting survey permission from villages, advertising for and selecting village surveyors, contracting with and training village surveyors, providing surveyors with necessary forms and envelopes, assisting surveyors throughout the survey period with survey procedures, reviewing survey forms and helping correct errors and discrepancies, and paying surveyors.
