The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, services and license/permits necessary to perform compliance mist net surveys in accordance with Indiana Bat Mist Net Protocols. Contractor must be approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (and have all required Federal and State permits) and must be able to take a photograph of the calcar of any bat identified as an Indiana bat. Locations netted will be recorded using a GPS in the NAD 27, Conus, Decimal Degree format. Contractor must furnish a short report with bat information, map of locations, GPS locations, banding records and photographs of sites netted and of calcar. Before any work may be conducted, contractor must furnish a signed copy of his state of Arkansas Scientific Collecting Permit and his federal bat mist netting/banding permit. Federal permit must be for the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest and must have the Indiana, Gray and Ozark big-eared bats listed. Work areas are located on the Boston Mountain/Sylamore/Magazine Ranger Districts of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Franklin, Crawford, Madison, Washington, Benton, Searcy, Stone, Baxter and Logan Counties, Arkansas.
