The Biological Testing Program (BTP), Developmental Therapeutics Program (DTP), Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), is seeking organizations having the capability to provide a genetic monitoring resource for the BTP. Genetic monitoring for quality assurance will accompany the long standing efforts in microbiological quality, in order that each animal produced from rederived stock, under our production contracts, is as well defined as possible. Genetic monitoring will be accomplished by biochemical means, i.e., testing for loci involved in producing cellular enzyme or protein variants. It is anticipated that one (1) contract will be awarded for this effort, as a result of this RFP, for a period of sixty (60) months. This RFP is a recompetition of the "Biochemical Genetic Monitoring of Rodents" project being performed by Texas A&M University. RFP No. N02-CM-32402 will be available on or about June 21, 2002, by written request from Ms. Patricia A. White, Contract Specialist, Management Operations and Support Branch, NCI-Frederick, Building 427, Room 10, Frederick, Maryland 21702-1201, (301) 846-5473. The deadline for submission of proposals will be on or about July 30, 2002. Requests for RFP must cite the above RFP number. No collect calls will be accepted.
