The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences intends to award a sole source purchase order to University of Bristol, Bristol, UK, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The University of Bristol will provide the results of cholesterol assays of maternal serum and corresponding clinical data for mother and child from approx. 14,000 maternal/infant pairs from data collected from the Avon Longitudinal Study on Parents and Children (ALSPAC). The University of Bristol has access to the database information and the expertise to provide assay material serum from these defined study group participants and to provide a linked data set of all clinical and epidemiologic data on mother and child. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of closing date of notice to Dee Lunney at the above address for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements.
