The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency [U. S. EPA] Environmental Sciences Division intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation [FAR] Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to American Planning Association of Chicago, Illinois, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1.The purpose of the acquisition is to identify ecosystems vulnerable to being lost in the next 5 to 50 years and to elucidate which stressors cause the greatest risk to ecosystem goods and services in the Mid-Atlantic regions. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541710. It has been determined that because of the past work of American Planning Association with ReVA studies, it is the only vendor uniquely qualified to meet this requirement. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE [RFQ] IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPAâs requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 15 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
